I started using this product when I switched overnight from a meat/dairy diet to a vegan one for health reasons. I took fish oil for DHA in the past, but I hated the fishy taste and smell, and I’ve always been nauseated by the ‘vitamin’ smell anyway. Not to mention the disgusting fish taste if you burp later! Yuck!
I found out from my doctor that the nasty taste afterward is because the oil inside the capsule is often rancid, and while it still offers some health benefits, the thought of intaking rancid fish oil makes me want to gag! So I looked online and found Dr. Fuhrman’s DHA+EPA Purity. Now, I have not watched his show or read any of his books, just used this and his Dr. Fuhrman Gentle Care Formula iron-free supplement.
This item is refrigerated from creation to delivery and home storage, so there is not rancidity, and it’s made from marine vegetation, so no fishy taste or smell. It has a faint lemony taste, I can easily squirt it on my tongue if needed but I usually add it to my smoothie or juice in the morning since it’s right there in the fridge. If you’re using this while pregnant it doesn’t have much smell, especially cold, so you could easily use this if you’re nauseated by other products (UGH). Because it’s mild, you could also use it for a kid, mixed into yogurt or juice. Because it is refrigerated, it can make travel a little difficult, but I put it in a cooler along with our water bottles, snacks and the like. Obviously you can’t take it on a plane.
I have noticed a decrease in my weight, ADD symptoms (once debilitating) and depression (again, debilitating) but I don’t think it was this alone. I combined it with a healthy diet, moderate exercise 3-5x week, sleep and relaxation techniques after work.

Really like the taste of this.. it has a hint of citrus.. very easy to swallow. However, I feel like the dosage should be more than .75ml. I would love for this to be in pill form because I forget to take it when it’s in my fridge. I have taken this throughout my pregnancy and I’m 5 months now.. the baby is kicking like crazy and I like to think this dha/epa is the reason for it 
the taste was great in the beginning, however, tastes are changing for me since farther along in my pregnancy and I have to mask the taste with orange juice.. it does the trick!

I believe the liquid is fresher than the capsules too – less chance of being rancid. I looked for a LONG time to find an omega 3 supplement that met all the recommendations – this was the only one!
It is my second time purchasing this product and I think it is great that they have the liquid version of EPA-DHA, because not onlydoes the liquid form absorb much quicker by your body, but it is one less pill that you can eliminate from your daily vitamin intake.
