I’ve been using the blush and eyeshadow brushes none stop since I ever received this kit. Haven’t given enough attempts to the big one because I prefer to use puff to apply my loose powder. I own nearly all the original brushes and this bold metal collection kit. This new collection is definitely much softer and multi-task than the originals. I have to pay extra attention while using the original ones, because I feel painful if I use them with a “wrong” angle. Maybe I am too sensitive, but this metal collection doesn’t give me that same trouble. The bold metal pink blush brush is a great multi-task tool because of its unique shape. I always use it to apply my blush first , and turn it, and use the top part to apply my highlighter. I can use the eyeshadow brush to finish my everyday eye-look with contouring my nose. Such a great way to save time on a rush morning. Two brushes are enough to do my everyday look. Great products, worth the hype, they are in my must-have collection.

The Blush Brush wasn’t maintain it’s original shape while I use it.
The synthetic bristles are really fluffy and soft, but that’s also the reason why this brush branches unevenly after using it.
You have to re-shape it again and again, and don’t even mention about the cleaning.
Except for this, the others in this Kit performed really well.

I bought this set on sale, and am very pleased with the brushes. The non-sale price of 49 bucks is a bit much, but on sale, I believe this brush set is worth the price. Very beautiful and sturdy brushes with ultra soft brush hairs. I have all the other brushes from RT, and the hairs on these brushes are slightly softer than the original ones (and might I add the original brushes are super soft too, so that’s saying something)
I love the large angled brush for contouring and all-over bronzing of my face. The middle rose gold brush is awesome for highlighting and foundation application! The small eye brush is great for an all-over wash of color on your lids. All in all, I was ready to dismiss this product as a gimmicky, over-priced brush set, but I’d recommend looking into this set when it is on sale. Slightly superior quality to the original RT brushes(plus no shedding! I’ve noticed the newer RT brushes tend to shed, but these babies don’t), and super pretty brushes to add to your collection. Good purchase!

These brsuhes are superior! So so luxurious, soft, glamorous, high quality and PRETTY! I love this 3-pack, because it ‘s quite pricey to buy all of them seperately (although I own all of them). If your’e a fan of makeup, makeup brusher or Real Techniques, then it’s 100% must have. Save your money girl and get them, it’s worth the money. I like all of the Real Techniques makeup brushes but Bold Metals collection is something different – it isn’t for everyone, but if you are makeup freak (like me:D ) then yes – these are for you! They are sooo much softer, than original ones. Also I like the fact, that they are weighted, what makes it easier to apply the right amoung of makeup. I RECOMMEND <3 Plus they are sooo much cheaper in iHerb, than in my local beauty store

I was initially skeptical about buying these brushes after I read the first review for these on iHerb, stating “The normal range of brushes are softer than these.” I thought that Real Techniques possibly used cheaper materials for this gift set. Wrong. These brushes are the exact same as the ones that you purchase individually. I own the individuals and I own these too – exactly the same. The softest most beautifully textured brushes with a gorgeous design and sturdy feel. Buying this set saved me a heap of money as the brushes are quite pricey to buy individually. Great value. Especially when iHerb do their 20%!

Quallity is also pretty well

For the price and hype about this, I was disappointed at the quality. The normal range of brushes are softer than these. The brushes are too big for my face as well.

My set isn’t as soft as Real Technique’s regular brushes. Such a let down. They don’t perform well too..

Buying these brushes in this set is quite good value compared to the individual price. These brushes not only look fabulous they have a nice weight to them. These brushes are super soft and pick up and place product beautifully. They are pricey but I’m glad I picked them up and would recommend this pack.
